Are you a young energetic sales professional looking to take your sales career to the next level?  Here’s an exciting opportunity to join a small, dynamic consulting organization at the ground level and start defining your sales career.  Building upon your successful sales track record, you will promote and sell CTP’s best of breed consulting and IT outsourcing support products and services (MTS) in your assigned sales territory focusing on small and midsized business (SMB). In true 'sales hunter' fashion, you will prospect, generate and cultivate new leads in your region and expand our presence in our target markets by effectively communicating CTP’s unique value proposition. In addition, you will leverage existing customer relationships by seeking new opportunities for the CTP solution and provide ongoing support towards ensuring overall satisfaction and a long term relationships.

Your Specific Responsibilities
• Sell and market CTP’s unique solutions in an assigned territory, building a pipeline of qualified prospects and consistently achieving and/or exceeding your assigned quotas and revenue objectives
• Perform sales forecasting; account planning and other related sales tasks to grow assigned business profitably
• Thoroughly analyze and understand current and potential customers’ needs and objectives in order to successfully determine the appropriate CTP solution and create compelling sales positioning capitalizing on the strengths that will meet those needs and objectives
• Source and stay abreast of competitive industry and market intelligence, providing feedback for lead generation, to support recommendations, for sales positioning and to identify developing opportunities.
 

Experience and Skills: Your Unique Value Proposition

  • University or College Degree backed by a minimum of 2 years relevant experience in consulting sales
  • Demonstrated experience and success working SMB accounts
  • Skilled at cold calling and prospecting to identify new business opportunities
  • Expert knowledge of the Sales Cycle and Strategic Solution Selling techniques, backed by exceptional quota exceeding sales performance.
  • Skill at overcoming objections, negotiating and closing the sale
  • Confidence and ability to interface professionally with a wide spectrum of customers including C level executives
  • Experience, familiarity and ability to understand and clearly articulate knowledge of various Windows technologies a plus.
  • Polish and professionalism in delivering presentations to executive/owner/president level, customizing to suit the audience
  • Strong business acumen, ethics and high integrity
  • Resilience and ability to handle stressful situations effectively while managing several tasks effectively.

• Field Engineer

Managed Technology Services is currently seeking a Field Engineer to support our customers in Eastern Massachusetts. Field Engineers provide ongoing technology support to our customers. Backed by the our state-of-the-art tool set in our Network Operations Center, our Field Engineers are the face our customers see when they need on-site help. You will be responsible for the timely resolution of trouble calls, proactive maintenance, and periodic reviews to provide our customers with smoothly running network infrastructures.

Requirements:

Excellent customer skills

Technical Proficiency in one or more technologies supported by CTP

  • Desktop Operating Systems
  • Windows Server 2000, 2003
  • Checkpoint, Cisco Pix
  • LAN/WAN
  • Cisco networking products

MCSE, MCP Certification a plus

Ability to travel to various local customer sites

• Network Operations Center – Lead Support Technician

Managed Technology Services is currently seeking a Lead Support Technician for our Network Operations Center. Support Technicians are responsible to respond to incoming requests and alerts from our network monitoring tools, ensure proper tracking of all incoming work, and to follow (and refine) our troubleshooting processes. This position is critical to customer satisfaction and will have a hands-on role solving technical problems using a state-of-the-art tool set.

• Technology Support Manager

Our Technology Support Managers are responsible for the smooth operation of several customer networks. This position requires organization, discipline and technical insight to juggle conflicting priorities and deliver excellent service to our customers. You will be backed by a dedicated field engineering team and a NOC staff with the tools to provide immediate problem resolution. Our customers will look to you to guide their technology decisions and ensure their technology infrastructure is available for their business.

Requirements:

Excellent customer skills
5 years management experience within an infrastructure technology discipline
MCSE, MCP a plus
Strong coaching/mentoring skills

• Tools Manager

Managed Technology Services is seeking to fill this critical role within our delivery organization. The Tools Manager is responsible to select, upgrade and maintain infrastructure management tools that keep CTP at state-of-the-art levels of support effectiveness.  Previous experience within an MSP is strongly preferred.

• Senior Technical Consultant

Requirements

Consulting Experience: 5+ years with infrastructure projects
Technology focus: Microsoft. A broader knowledge of other platforms is a plus.
Technical knowledge: Expert in at least two disciplines, fluent in at least several:

Active Directory     Exchange                       Storage         Service Level Agreement
MS SQL                    SharePoint / CMS        Backup         Server hardware
ISA / Security          SMS / Altiris / Ghost   Availability  WAN / LAN / firewall

Certifications. An MCSE will be required, either at entry or within the first year.
Project experience: At least one major project in a large environment.

A core value of this company is professional expertise developed in a large project environment and successfully adapted to small and medium businesses. Demonstration of a solid working knowledge of structured projects and a highly professional consulting approach is required. Breadth of technology knowledge is important, though the ability to learn and research topics as required is more important in this rapidly changing field. An honest interest in working with small and medium size businesses (50 - 5,000 seats) is important.

The successful candidate will, to some extent, define this position. A high degree of professionalism, eagerness to learn, and good manner with clients are important. It is expected that all senior consultants will participate in pre-sales activities and work to define market and direction. There will be a significant amount of documentation associated with projects, and good writing skills are important. Good presentation and teaching skills will be important, especially in working with clients on certain projects.
